Artists work for chicken scratch

It was at the turn into the 20th Century that a group of artists got together on Bearskin
Neck and disguised as chickens, working only with their beaks,  created maritime scenes of great artistry. None of their works remain as a steady beat of tourists regularly trampled their sand paintings.
